Following the success of the first Demo and Dine session, the next one will take place from 6pm to 9pm on Thursday 19 August at the Little Roodee Café in Chester as Vivo Care Choices staff and people training up at the café demonstrate how to make recipes from scratch.
People using Vivo’s services, their carers and family members and staff are all welcome to take advantage of these sessions so you can learn how to cook recipes and tuck into some food.
Not only does the Little Roodee Café provide delicious food for customers from Monday to Sunday, but it also has vocational training and employment opportunities for people with learning disabilities and autism.
The Demo and Dine sessions will take place on a monthly basis moving forward with a different theme and recipe each time so you always have something new to learn and take away.
What’s on the menu
- Raspberry Bee’s Knees mocktail
- Chicken wrapped in pancetta served with fresh vegetables
- Eton mess
Tickets are priced at £14.55 per person and this includes food for you to enjoy during your visit, recipe packs and much more.
The sessions are open to all Vivo services and people taking part must have their usual evening support in place, whether that is with Vivo staff or parents, carers or family members. Any staff, parents, carers or family members wanting to eat will need to pay for a ticket to cover costs.
If you’re unable to book online, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org and Vivo can arrange for your payment to be made in a different way.
Parking is available next to the café at the Little Roodee Café car park, but you’ll need to pay the standard charges.
