Vivo Care Choices has welcomed two new non-executive directors to its Board.

Following a targeted recruitment drive, Erica Morriss and Mark Ward will both be joining the Board, helping develop Vivo’s strategy and drive the organisation forward alongside the Leadership team.

Erica recently retired from a full-time corporate relationship banking career spanning 35 years with the Royal Bank of Scotland and NatWest, providing valuable experience across many areas, such as strategic thinking, digital transformation, enhancing customer service and people development.

She is also a Board member for Healthwatch Cheshire, Citizens Advice Cheshire West and Castles and Coasts Housing Association and a Partner Governor for Mid-Cheshire Foundation Trust.

Mark, meanwhile, is a highly experienced leader, having held multiple Chief Executive and Board roles across a 20-year career in the voluntary sector.

He is currently Chief Executive of Borough Care, which provides residential care homes for older people and those with dementia in Stockport. Borough Care operates 11 homes, with two more opening in 2021.

Mark is also a Trustee, Non-Executive Director and member of the Finance Committee at Skills For Care, a national charity supporting the social care workforce.

Jacqui Harvey, Chair of Vivo’s Board, said: “We’re delighted to welcome both Erica and Mark to our Board.

“They have both enjoyed successful careers in different sectors and will bring plenty of experience to our already experienced Board.

“At Vivo, we are very ambitious and want to build on the considerable progress we have made over the last couple of years. It is important we have Board members with the right skills to help us do that.

“I have no doubt both Erica and Mark will be fantastic additions and myself and the rest of Board are very much looking forward to working with them.”
