The online premiere of documentary Altered Thinking, examining the history of disability on film, is taking place from 6pm on Thursday 3 December, which is the International Day of People with Disabilities.

People using Vivo Care Choices’ services, as well as staff, have taken part in the documentary, which is directed by Len Collin and focuses particularly on intellectual disability.

The online premiere is free to watch and will run for approximately one hour and 45 minutes.

An online Q&A session is also taking place afterwards, starting from 8pm. You can enjoy refreshments in the comfort of your own home.

Alistair Jeffs, Managing Director of Vivo, took part in the documentary to help champion the voices of disabled people.

He said: “We’re delighted that so many people connected with Vivo have been involved with the documentary.

“We’ve worked with Len in the past and he’s a brilliant advocate for disabled people and their appearance in TV and film.

“We hope as many people as possible are able to watch the premiere and support this documentary.”

If you’re unable to make the online premiere, don’t worry as you’ll be able to watch it back at a later date.
