Volunteers at Vivo Care Choices will be rewarded for their time and effort through the Time Credits scheme.

Vivo recently signed up to the scheme in west Cheshire as a way of encouraging people to take up volunteering opportunities across its services.

Time credits are a currency that can be spent in many different ways locally. As well as organisations like Vivo signing up to the scheme to offer credits, other organisations agree to accept them, meaning volunteers can go out and spend them on something they enjoy.

It is a great way of recognising the work volunteers carry out in their local community.

Alistair Jeffs, Vivo Managing Director, said: “We’re delighted to sign up to the scheme.

“Volunteers do make a big difference to organisations like ours, offering valuable skills in their roles.

“Not only can volunteers spend time credits on themselves, but they can also take their friends and families out to make it a great occasion.

“A lot of volunteers give up their time to simply support their local community, but it’s always nice to be able to reward them for all the hours they give up to make a real difference.”

There are many ways you can volunteer at Vivo and you can offer the amount of time to suit you.

A couple of exciting volunteering opportunities have recently come up at Curzon House in Chester, with Activities Volunteer, Handyperson/Gardener Volunteer and Local/Social History Volunteer roles all available.
