Staff at Curzon House can make a real difference to the lives of people with dementia – and that’s one of many reasons why you should consider working in the team there.

Vivo is recruiting for support worker positions at Curzon, which is a Dementia Centre of Excellence and provides care, support and accommodation for people with a range of needs. This includes people needing time to recover from illness, evening and weekend respite for older people and day services for people with dementia.

Experience in dementia care is essential and Vivo is looking for staff with a real can-do attitude to support people on their journey.

Margaret Thurston has worked at Curzon for 23 years and that’s largely down to the fact no two days are the same.

She said: “You’re working with different people all the time.

“You go on people’s journeys with them and we have a really nice relationship with all of the families and carers, nurses and other health professionals.”

Not only will you be able to support people on their journeys, but you will be able to work with a fantastic, friendly team.

Joanne Gillam added: “The staff make the service what it is.

“I’ve worked here for 18 years and the staff have always been great.

“I genuinely love what I do as it’s a really rewarding job.”
